Osteopathic Therapist
Hi, I’m Rory and I am also an Osteopath at Fareham Osteopathic Centre.
I graduated from Kingston University, with a master’s degree in osteopathic medicine. During my time at Kingston, I took a particular interest in the rehabilitation of long-term medical conditions.
My desire to work in Osteopathy stemmed from my commitment to helping people to gain full health and a better quality of life. I have worked with a wide range of populations, and I have received extensive training in exercise prescription to assist prevention of further injury, and rehabilitation recovery.
I use a mixture of Osteopathic approaches when addressing my patient’s mobility restrictions, ensuring that their body optimal opportunity to return to health. These include joint mobilizations, soft tissue work and manipulations and Cranial techniques. Additionally, I also offer holistic approached to bettering my patient’s health through the specialist training that I received from the C.H.E.K institute. I will assist every one of my patients in developing a tailored treatment plan for their issues at hand, which will ensure a strong and effective recovery.
I have dedicated my time to expanding my expertise and improving my skillset that I can offer to my patients. My expertise also includes cardiac rehabilitation and fall prevention and as a result, I am proud to have become a Postural Stability Instructor for Falls Prevention.
Outside of the clinic setting, Rory enjoys reading, hiking in the countryside and remaining physically active, and playing guitar.
